MID MARCH UPDATE ON THE ARIZONA DISPENSING OPTICIANS ACT
HOUSE BILL 2378
The AADO has received updates on this house bill from our lobbyist, Lori Lustig. To date there has been no further movement of the bill and on March 17, Lori Scott, Executive Director of the Arizona State Board of Dispensing Opticians, tells us that the bill is dead. We have also been told by a good source that, Those who want to do away with our licensing, will be back in the future.
Thanks to all who worked hard, attended hearings, wrote letters against HB 2378 and thanks to the AADO who saw a way to finance our lobbyist.
