To improve, foster and promote the high standards of the Optical profession through recognized continuing education for State Licensed, ABO/NCLE certified and non-licensed opticians working independently or employed by an optical establishment. Thus, inspiring confidence and the highest of standards to the public and the ophthalmic community. This is accomplished by providing an organization such as AADO thru which licensed, non-licensed and associates may undertake activities that can be effective if thru a cooperative effort.
