Harry C. Clark, 85, founder of Clark Optical, Phoenix, AZ. Died peacefully on May 7, 2014 at his home in Casa Grande, AZ. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and raised on a farm about a mile north of Van Buren Missouri on the Current River. He served in the Army during World War 2 as a paratrooper and glider pilot and was wounded in battle. After his recovery he moved to Arizona and in 1951, opened Clark Optical and ran the company for decades. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Margurite, his parents, older brother and the wife of his younger brother. He is survived by son Jon (Susan), daughter Tina Brogdon (Clay) of Savanna, GA., daughter Karen, son Phillip (Sharon) and son Paul, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral will be at the V.A. Cemetary on Monday, June 2 at 9:30 am north of the loop 101 on Cave Creek Rd.
